A System ticket allows you to play more numbers than the 7 numbers in a standard Oz Lotto game. The system covers all possible 7 number combinations of your 8 or more numbers.
The type of System you choose relates to how many numbers you want to play. For example, a System 10 gives you every combination of your 10 numbers, and a System 13 gives you every combination of your 13 numbers.
A system in Oz lotto increases your chances to win by covering all possible 7 number combinations of your 8 or more numbers.
Below is an example of the games you would have if you bought a System 8 entry, versus having a Standard entry.
A Standard entry would be your 7 chosen numbers plus the Powerball, like the example below.
Game | Main Numbers |
---|---|
1 | 31, 15, 28, 35, 10, 41, 32 |
Your System 8 entry will give you every possible combination of your 8 numbers, like below.
8 Chosen numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
Game | Main Numbers |
---|---|
1 | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 |
2 | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 |
3 | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 |
4 | 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 |
5 | 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 |
6 | 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 |
7 | 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 |
8 | 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 |
If your numbers in 1 game have the winning combination, you’ll win multiple prizes (and often multiple divisions) from your other games.
To view the divisional prizes for each System type, view the System Entry Prize Tables.
A System ticket gives you more chances to win. This type of entry allows players to increase their chances of winning a prize by playing a wider range of number combinations.
