Endeavour Prize Home first prize winner, Gary, was spending time kicking a football with his grandchildren when he received a life-changing phone call he said is, “the call you dream about getting all your life!”

“You wonder what the feeling is when you get a phone call like that and now, I know. It’s unbelievable!”

Gary waited to receive an email confirming the results before calling his wife, who was overseas. His wife admitted she screamed and had to explain to her trekking group that they had won the Endeavour Prize Home.

When the day came to receive the keys to their new home, the couple were overjoyed.

The Victorian couple plan to share the good fortune, keeping the home to share with family and friends. They’re looking forward to taking the jet skis out on the water and having good family time.
