Endeavour Foundation supports International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). Celebrated on the 3rd of December, it’s a day to remind us of acceptance. Above all, the importance of bringing down the barriers that often stop people with a disability from being fully included in everyday community life.

We all want to be accepted, to belong and to know we are valued. However, people with a disability are often restricted. Limited from accessing basic services, activities, or contributing to the community.

About Endeavour Foundation

Endeavour Foundation provides real opportunities for people with a disability. Above all, supporting over 2,400 people every year to to help them live fulfilling lives at home, at work, and in the community. One of the ways they achieve this is through their At Home With Choices Program. Launched in 2011, the program provides modern, accessible housing for people with a disability, enabling them to live as part of their community and gain more independence. To date, they have built accommodation for 66 residents in 15 locations. Most recently opened was Norman Gardens in Rockhampton – providing three new contemporary share houses for people with a disability.
