Double Lucky Lotteries Win In NSW

Two New South Welshmen are celebrating after each winning Division 1 in two recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draws! Both winners scooped the $100,000 first prize.

The first winner, a man which purchased his ticket from a local newsagency in Port Macquarie and wishes to remain anonymous, was “stunned” to receive a call from lottery officials saying he had won $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries. The regular Lucky Lotteries player said he had had “a few little wins here and there” but had never won a prize of this magnitude before.

“It’s terrific!” he said. “It’s money I didn’t have last week!”

He said that it was finally time to follow through on those lotto dreams, including going on a “big holiday”, but that he intended to share the prize with his family first and foremost. He also planned to save some money for the future.

The second winner, another anonymous man who is also a regular Lucky Lotteries player, said the most he had ever won before now was $500. He purchased his ticket from a local newsagency in the Sydney suburb of Edensor Park and was surprised when a staff member checked his ticket and screamed that he had won first prize.

“I think he was more excited than me!” joked the winner. He then rang his wife to share the good news and warned her “not to show any emotion” while she was at work, but she reportedly “started laughing with joy” once she found out.

The winner said the prize money would largely go towards paying off the mortgage on their home, but that a portion of it would be set aside for their children and a holiday later in the year.
