$60 Million Powerball Winner Sydney Woman in 20’s

The recent $60 Million Powerball on 17 September 2020 was won solely by a lucky woman from Sydney in her 20’s! The $60 million Powerball winner didn’t answer the phone on first ring, however was in disbelief when she answered the second!

Imagine going from a normal life in your 20’s living in inner-city Sydney, to being a multi-millionaire! This became a reality for the lucky winner, who was struggling to believe the news. She said “Are you joking? Are you sure about this? This is insane, thank you”.

“It’s my husband who usually buys the tickets. There’s no way he’s going to believe me. This is amazing,” she said.

The woman was surrounded by family when she found out the news, and couldn’t wait to celebrate.

“We will be able to pay off all our debts, help our parents out and all our siblings. We will be able to buy a house,” she said.

Despite recent struggles with COVID-19, she is hopeful that she can travel again and celebrate soon. She mentioned, “Hopefully, when we can travel again, we will be able to take our whole family somewhere overseas. This is very overwhelming. I’m shaking like a leaf.”

The $60 million Powerball winner took home a total of $60,683,656.95, including her 19 division two wins!

Despite recent struggles with COVID-19, she is hopeful that she can travel again and celebrate soon.

The winning numbers in the draw were: 4, 11, 19, 28, 3, 5 and 7 with a Powerball of 6.
